Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 from Beaumont Puy de Domme. Since a young age, both her dental doctors parents and teacher mom supported her love of theatre and drama. This passion that trumps her first desire to be an animal scientist. The rise of her as a young actress was swift and marked by early success. Her career began in earnest in 1999, when she started acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou was a participant in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a student at her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and studied there at the age of a child, has disavowed her Catholic education. Now, she says she is not a Catholic. Modeling and acting were intertwined. Her image was the mainstay of L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and she is often known as the Chanel Muse. Apart from her acting career she is also interested in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection images in Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity in addition to the fame. The exhibition also includes portraits of herself and focus on journalists that have been watching Tautou's career since her dramatic success after Amelie. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her first big role, starring in the role of the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a film box office successes and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies all over the world. It's also the biggest French language film to ever be released in the US. In the years following the film, she appeared in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
