Felicity Jones is an British actress best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played her role on The Theory of Everything, which was critically acclaimed. Jones has been acting since she was 12years old, has been a part of many TV series and movies. Her career began with the TV film The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. In her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool she played Young Ruth and went on to feature in several movies. In movies like The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she became popular for her performances. The role she played as the wife in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. The biopic was inspired by the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones received a lot of praise from the public and reviewers for her impeccable performance as Hawking's wife. Inferno, the Tom Hanks thriller was her subsequent film. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her outstanding talent and contribution to the film.
