Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. She was also recognized for her television debut as Eleni Andros cooper in CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. Some of her notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the pair that wrote the film Immortals. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
